Overview

The Siklis trek is a classical renowned trekking destination of Annapurna region highlighting the untamed nature and locale of the mountains living undisturbed on the setting of fascinating natural beauty. The Siklis trekking is a popular short trek to a protected traditional village of Annapurna Sanctuary called Siklis inhabited by Gurung civilization. The Siklis is one of the biggest Gurung village that is resided inside the protected region of Annapurna Conservation Zone. The trekking trail of Siklis is traversing through customary villages, farming lands, beautiful rice fields, ending up in a high elevation region dominated by enchanting panorama views of Mount Fishtail accompanied by other Himalayas. The highlights of Siklis trek are subtropical terrains, rhododendron forests, traditional village settlements, and high elevation meadows on the foothills of Mount Fishtail and Mount Annapurna, untamed solitary mountain civilization of Gurungs and others living in traditional highland lifestyle, wonderful nature and above all close by wide angle of Mount Fishtail and Mount Annapurna etc.

The travelers after landing and resting at Pokhara drive towards Bijaypur Khola and from there start following the trekking trail to village called Kalikasthan and get boarded for overnight. The next day the travelers move towards village called Lama Khet and get boarded there for overnight. The travelers after passing through Lama Khet follows the trekking trail to village of Sikles. The travelers get overnight stay at the village of Siklis for sightseeing. The travelers returning from Siklis village travel to Neuli Kharka or forest camp and finally land on Ghale Gaon. The Ghale Gaon is a traditional mountain village of Ghale community. The travelers get overnight rest at Ghale Gaon for sightseeing. The next day the travelers move towards Hyamja village and from there they take land vehicle to Pokhara City.

Day 06: Trek to Ghalekharka

Day 07: Trek to Pokhara stay overnight good hotel in pokahra and evening walking around lakeside
Day 08: Back to Kathmandu by bus or flight as you like

Day 08: Fly /Drive to Kathmandu

  • Two nights standard accommodation in 2/3 star category hotel in Kathmandu located tourist center, or up to you.

 Jeans or slacks
Towel and toilet kit
Underwear
Gloves or mittens
Sleeping bag, warm to 20 degrees F, either down or fibrefill (or you can rent one in Kathmandu)
Parka, down or fibre fill; a ski jacket is ok
Sweater, wool shirt or acrylic pile jacket
Duffel bag, canvas or nylon, without a frame (for porters to carry)
Daypack or rucksack, waterproof, for you to carry
Water bottle 1 liter or 1 quart; be sure that it does not leak
