Gorkha Pokhara Trek Overview

The Gorkha Pokhara trek is an off beaten trekking trail connecting the Gorkha district and Pokhara city passing through traditional villages and walking way used by locales. The development of road and transportation has made Gorkha and Pokhara so much accessible that this trekking trail is less crowded and used by locale only. We follow the direct southern route to Pokhara although there is another northern route but southern route is far easy and delightful than north so we follow southern route. The southern route begins from Gorkha bazar and takes the tourists to trekking trail that traverses through traditional villages of Gorkha which are resided in beautiful natural settings accompanied with lush forests, scenic landscapes, far distance scenic views of mountains and white Himalayas and friendly locales. This route is for all types of travelers and vacationers because of its lower altitude with good views of Himalayas without having going to base camp. The Gorkha Pokhara trek trekking trail covers the visit to various legendary Gurkha villages of Gorkha district who are called Gorkhali and are legendary brave warriors of Nepal who fought over guns with Khukuri. The tourists land on Gorkha Bazar on land vehicle and have overnight rest there.  The following day they start a delightful trekking experience travelling through general altitude regions accompanied by green hills, warm sun, traditional villages and beautiful views from hills. The tourists from Gorkha Bazar traverse through various villages called Pokharathok, Ramche, Tarighat, Kunchha, Sedaghat, Deurali, Nayabazar and after Nayabazar the tourists take land vehicle to Pokhara city. The tourists have overnight rest at Pokhara city and do sightseeing.
