Overview

The Yala Peak Climbing is a stimulating independent climbing expedition to Mount Yala of Langtang region of Nepal. The Langtang region of Nepal is one of the beautiful region that is overflowing of lush forests, perfect nature, waterfalls, glacier lakes, snowcapped Himalayas, high hills with wonderful mountainscape views and traditional villages.The Mount Yala is of 5700 meters high and grouped as easy climbing peak by mountaineering professionals. The Yala Peak is suited to new and novice climbers who are just learning the mountaineering education. This mountain is located near the Mount Shishapangma of 8013 meters that is resided in the borders of China.

The relaxed way of travelling to Mount Yala is taking up vehicle and land on Syabru Besi of Rasuwa District. The travelers then trek to langtang valley get overnight rest there and reach Kyanjin Gompa. The Kyanjin Gompa of 3800 meters altitude is first place for acclimatize before base camp. The travelers stay for one to three days depending upon the health of the tourist. During acclimatization the travelers should hike on nearby places like Kyanjin Ri and do some hiking over high hills of surrounding places. The travelers after completing their acclimatization move towards the first base camp located at a meadow of 4800 meters altitude. The travelers get enough rest at first base camp to start climbing the Mount Yala setting up high camps where needed. The climbers are climbing over the rocky and steep hill until the last 700 meters at the top. This 700 meters is a climb into the steep snow and requires climbing gears like rope, ice axe, crampons etc. The summit of Mount Yala have views of Mount Shishapangma and Mount Gang Chempo along with landscape views of Langtang valley and Tibetan borders.

Itinerary

Day 01:Arrival in Kathmandu airport and Hotel transfer by Nepal Guide info Team member

Day 02:We meet all other expedition members and the leader, conduct initial briefing and preparations and we will have an opportunity to do last minute shopping in Kathmandu

Day 03:We take 9hrs a scenic drive from Kathmandu along Trishuli River Valley to Sybrubensi(1503m) North of Kathmandu via Dhunche village; teahouse accommodation.

Day 04:We trek 5hrs from Sybrubensi to Lama Hotel (2410m); we will walk along the Bhote Koshi and Langtang Khola via Bamboo, wich is famous for red Panda; teahouse accommodation.

Day 05:We trek 6hrs from Lama Hotel to Langtang(3430m) via Ghodatabela. At Ghodatabela (3000m), the trail emerges from the forest; tea house accommodation.

Day 06:We trek 5.5hrs from Lantang to Kyanjin Gumba (3830m); we should arrive at Kyanjin at lunchtime, giving us time to acclimatize and explore the area; teahouse accommodation.

Day 07:We take acclimatizing rest at Kyanjin Gumba and visit visit the monastery and the cheese factory, walk up glaciers of Langtang Lirung or ascend Kyangjin Ri (4350m.) behind the village for a breathtaking panorama of the Langtang peaks; teahouse accommodation.

Day 08:We trek 7hrs from Kyanjin Gumba to Yala Peak Base Camp (4800m).

Day 09:Early in the morning after breakfast we take 6hrs Yala Peak summit trek and return to base camp (4800m).

Day 10:We trek 5hrs from Yala Peak Base Camp to Kyanjin Gumba(3830m); teahouse accommodation.

Day 11:We trek 4hrs from Kyanjin Gumba to Lama Hotel (2410m); teahouse accommodation

Day 12:We trek 6hrs from Lama Hotel to Syaphrubesi(1600m) via Sherpagaon, a hydropower project with Chilime Hydro power Power Plant. The main inhabitants of this area belong to the Tamang community.

Day 13:From Syabru Besi we drive for 8hrs to Kathmandu (1350m) by bus or car and transfer to hotel.

Day 14:Full Day sightseeing in Kathmandu valley (Durbar Square, Swoyambhunath, Boudhanath & Pashupatinath); Farewell-Celebration dinner in the evening.

Day 15:Transfer to the airport for final departure

Day 05:We trek 6hrs from Lama Hotel to Upper langtang  Village becuase after earthquake we change  place move to upper  Langtang(3430m) via Ghodatabela. At Ghodatabela (3000m), the trail emerges from the forest; tea house accommodation stay overnight guest house

Day 06:We trek 5.5hrs from Lantang to Kyanjin Gumba (3830m); we should arrive at Kyanjin Gomba  at lunchtime, giving us time to acclimatize and explore the area; tea house accommodation.

Health Issues
