How much does the Jiri to EBC Trek Cost?

The typical Jiri to Everest Base Camp Trek will cost in the region of $1400 to $2000 These are guided tour packages that will include all board and lodging, travel expenses, guides and porters and meals on the trip. We recommend using a best Nepal mountain guide team and based guide that is charging around $1600 per person, as packages cheaper than this are likely to be of a lesser quality due to cost cutting.

Tour packages will not include the cost of a Nepal visa – US$ 40 for a one month multi entry visa. They will also not cover and travel insurance expenses or personal expenses on the trip.

Trail condition during a Jiri to Everest base camp trek: Starting from a small town of Jiri, this route goes through beautiful villages and monasteries and still retains a rustic air around trail. The route is well marked but the trail section between Jiri and Chheplung is not maintained regularly which might put stress on your knees.

Accommodation Trekking: During the trip you will stay in lodges with great facilities and warm Sherpa hospitality. Most of the lodges are equipped with WiFi, hot shower and extensive food menu. However, finding lodges during peak season (October/ Novmber) can be challenging
