Annapurna circuit trek in June or July 2019
Yas July (and June) Is monsoons season – But that doesn’t mean All Bad news – You should leave plenty of time both at the beginning and end of your trek for delays in transportation for a start off The Trek
When you start your trek, either in Besisahar or Bhulbhule you will have several Wet days (it won’t rain all day but it will rain Every Day) But once you gain some altitude, maybe around Pisang the weather will start to improve as you enter “The Himalayan Rain Shadow” Places like the lakes at Tilicho are indeed best visited in June / July – do an image search on Google and you will see what I mean. Then once over the pass, especially below Jomsom you will re-enter the rain. Flights from Jomsom can be delayed for days because of poor visibility and the jeep road could well get washed out – so allow plenty of time for these eventualities too !! Other than that – if July is the only time you have then Go for it – But Go Prepared for rain as well as coolish night when you are at altitude.”
Finding guide/porter is really easy in Kathmandu specially during June/July (low season), but you will have to be lucky to get a good one if you don’t get it through agency. Benefit of hiring them through agency:
Legally run agency assure you the reliability of guide/porter (just imagine if your guide/porter leave on the middle of trekking trail
– If something went wrong along the way you just give them (agency) a call and they will take it thereafter
– Only reputable agency can provide you the professional guide,… even hotel/inns provide guide porter these days…
