Moderate altitudes-Shorter Trekking and Hiking Days- Views of Annapurna & Fishtail mountain ranges in Nepal- Villages of the Modi Khola Valley
One of our easy walking holidays in the Himalayas of Nepal and for anyone who enjoys tea house or lodge trekking in Nepal.Nepal guide info team designed this trek to feature mostly relatively short walking days in order that the beauty of the Modi Khola Valley, as well as views of the Annapurna and iconic Macchapuchare (Fishtail) can be enjoyed at a relaxed pace. Also to afford opportunities to meet the locals and experience villages along the hiking, rather than hurry through them. The trekking is somewhat moderate, although never entirely easy as in the Himalaya you cannot escape ascent and descent, however we have interrupted the usual, longish trekking day from Pothana down and then up to Ghandruk with an overnight halt at Landruk, as well as halting at Birethanti too in order that those of a reasonable level of fitness are not over-stretched. The fitter, more experienced mountain walker could readily complete this trek two days sooner. From one side of the Modi Khola Valley there are views across to Annapurna south and Hiunchuli and crossing to the opposite side the twin summits of Fishtail (verginm mountain or holy mountain too ) reveal themselves in all their magnificence views. An ideal first trek in Nepal for beginner Nepal guide info team organized this trip all year
